‘Ya No Se Puede Asi’ Art Opening at the Masur Gallery

Join us at the Masur Gallery in Lockhart to see art and poetry by first generation highschool students from Lockhart and San Marcos. In their art students share their views on themes around racism, criminalization and policies that affect immigrant families. We will have zines with the students work as well as popular education on our current campaigns and how community members can get involved!
We are excited to have poetry read by the students , live music by Olivia Zane, and will have postcard writing going on to demand that the confederate monument be removed from the court house square.
Our zines will be available by donation. Event is free and open to the public!
